Very Dissapointed
Not up to Vulcan standards
No reinforcement of padding in knees
Seams are only double stitched
I can't imagine this Gi lasting more than a few uncomfortable (knees) months |

Fit, durability and function....
This is a 3.5-4 star gi.
Fit: I'm female, 5'2", 135lbs, pear-shaped. I have 3 Vulkan gis-- a female-fit lavender Pro Light in A0 (pants too tight, sold to smaller teammate), a male white Ultralight in A1 (altered to shorten the pants, gi skirt and sleeves, use as my primary competition gi) and a male navy Ultralight in A0 (fits perfectly out of the bag, and didn't even shrink with warm wash, cool dry.)
Durability: Though it is extremely thin and light weight I have never worried that it would rip. I've used my A1 ultralight for over two years, not just in competitions either (I train 7 days a week and in Texas, summer is 6 months if not longer.) It's sturdy and well made. My gripe with it is the color and the pants fabric. The white gi is fine; the navy gi changed color. Now, the fabric of the lapel and the pants is distinctly different in color from the gi jacket itself-- the pants/lapel are indigo/purple and the jacket is still navy. Second-- the pants fabric developed nasty little "pills" all over the knees and front of the thigh area, and when wet with sweat it actually feels like sandpaper. Other than that, though, I have no issues with the construction or durability.
Function: I haven't noticed a problem with the lapel being too thin. I use my own gi a lot for wrapping, so perhaps I am biased. Also, I don't train in any gis with noticeably thick lapels (I have small hands and that would tend to be a disadvantage to me.) So take my words with a grain of salt if you prefer big Arctic-wear gis. :) |

Exceptional value for money
By far the best and most affordable GI on the market right now. Made in the same factory as Koral and for half the price. I'm 6'1 and 76kg(170 pounds) and it fits perfectly - i was worried about most of the other brands because i thought they would be too short..
The Gi is very light and is comfortable. Not too sure about how durable it is as i have only owned it for a month.
End of the day i would recommend this product. |

Nice Lightweight
I've had this give for three months and love it. I train in it 5/6 times a week some long intense sessions and it still looks almost new. The only thing I would change is the collar which is easy to snatch so your constantly worried about it. It runs a little short so if your on fence go a size bigger. Really durable for an Ultra Lite. |

Excellent Light Gi
Had my first for 3 years of 3x weekly rolling without obvious wear. Bought a second as a lightweight "dress" gi for teaching duties. Now buying another because hubby put the first in the wash with his red t-shirt, and I may be a girl but I don't care to wear a pink gi.
Prior reviewers objections regarding grip and control are true for any light gi, and I won't contradict. But as light gis go, I found this to be highly durable and a great fit, and give it an easy four stars with no problem. |

Simply a thin gi, nothing more
I bought this gi based on great recommendations online, also the fact that I train in constantly hot weather. Unfortunately this gi is very thin, the collar is incredibly thin so that means your opponents will have complete control of you. Dont get confused by the 2 of the 3 reviewers here who dont train and are judging this product by mmaoutlet's good customer service. This gi however is pretty durable, I've had one for 6 months of hard training, but another thing is that the thin material WILL stretch when being used and it simply doesnt fit well. |

Great Gi and Customer Service!
I ordered this gi as a Christmas present for my husband which I ordered last minute. My order arrived within the week of me ordering so he was able to open them Christmas morning! He was very excited with the brand and quality both vulkan belt and Vulkan ultra light bjj gi fit perfect. I am a very pleased guest with everything including the customer service. When I made the initial order I did not see the ship date, so I sent a chat msg and did not get a reply right away so got frusterated and signed off. No more then two seconds after me signing off my phone rang and it was a rep from MMA Outlet explaining he was slammed due to holiday orders and had more than one chat going. He andswered all of my questions and put me at ease. Thank you sooooo much MMA Outlet my husband and I will for sure be using you again! |

Vulkan Ultra Light Gi Excellent Quality and Value
This gi is excellent for a light a gi. In three years of moderate training it has not worn down at all. It is very durable, fits well and is comfortable. I highly recommend this if you are a beginner or if your school is excessively warm. The price is also one of the better values out there. The only draw backs are that it is a thinner light gi, people will have an easier time gripping you, but this is true of any light gi. |
