Hayabusa Convertible Backpack/Duffel Bag
NIce looking but poorly made
Someone at my gym bought this bag in January 2013. When i saw it I said "that is the bag for me" large enough to carry a bunch of stuff, narrow enough to fit in a gym locker and good looking. Figuring that it is a Hayabusa product AND is $100 that it would be high quality. I ordered mine the first week of February. Towards the end of Feb. the other person in my gym showed me their bag. Zipper broke off, stitching on the top frayed and a big hole developing. We both use the bag at least 5 days a week but figured he was just abusing his. Last week one of the zippers on my bag broke and now I am seeing the same fraying and hole on the same top stitching. I carry gloves shin pads, gi , water bottle and work clothing in it. The other guy came into the gym last night with a different bag and said that the Hayabusa bag totally fell apart…shoulder strap broke off and stitching coming undone all over. So it seems that after 2 or 3 months with regular use that it starts to fall apart. It is a shame because otherwise it is a great bag.
