The lightest Atama kimono money can buy! This excellent gi is perfect for hot weather training as well as making weight in tournaments. Similar to the single weave but noticeably lighter, the jacket is cut from a single piece of cloth so it has no back seam and no skirt. Collar is standard as on all other Atama gis. The gi jacket is made from 100% cotton.
  • Light weight rip-stop pants are a 57/43% cotton-poly blend

I am 5'7 ft and 180 lbs so I went with A2 white. Right out of the package, the gi top fit me like a glove. The pants were a little short though. The sleeves are not reinforced (unlike Mundial 7). The material is very strong. I tried to grip and rip the material, but I could not. Stretches a little when it gets wet. The gi top is extremely light and comfortable. Feels like you are not wearing any gi at all!

This is the third Atama Ultra Lite I own. Those of you living in the south know how hot it gets in the summer; especially in Tx. Pants & top have withstood the rigours of hours of rolling, several days a week. I would rank this gi with all the other light & ultra light gis. As they say here in Texas, "Joe Bob says check it out."
